Terms of service

The rules for using MotionArt, kept short and in plain words.

Last updated 2 October 2026

1. The service

MotionArt turns a written description into a short animated video. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you use MotionArt for a company, you agree on its behalf.

2. Your account

You need to be at least 16 to sign up. Keep your login to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at support@motionart.ai if you think someone else has access to it.

3. Plans and billing

Prices, what each plan includes and how the trial works are on the pricing page. Plans renew every month and are charged in advance through Stripe until you cancel.

You can cancel any time from Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't refund partial months. Unused prompts don't carry over to the next month. A render that fails doesn't count against your allowance.

4. What you make, and who owns it

You own your prompts, the images you upload and the videos you make with a trial or paid plan, and you can use those videos for anything lawful, commercial use included. Free previews carry a watermark and are for evaluation only.

You give us permission to store and process your content only as needed to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes.

5. What you may not do

Don't use MotionArt to make or upload anything that:

  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, including logos you don't have permission to use;
  • is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or meant to deceive (for example, impersonating a real person or brand);
  • attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the service.

We may refuse a prompt, remove content or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. AI-generated results

Videos are made by AI from your description. They may not match what you had in mind, and may contain mistakes. Check every video before you publish it; you're responsible for how you use it.

7. Warranty and liability

MotionArt is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your content safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using MotionArt and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give you notice so you can download your videos.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and email you about significant changes before they take effect. Questions? Write to support@motionart.ai.
