MotionArt

Privacy policy

What we collect when you use MotionArt, why, and what you can do about it. In plain words.

Last updated 2 October 2026

1. What we collect

  • Your account: your email address and name, and a hashed password if you sign up with one. If you continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We never see your Google password.
  • What you make: the prompts you write, the change requests you leave, images you attach, and the videos we render for you.
  • Billing: your plan and payment history. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Technical data: the logs every web service keeps (IP address, browser, pages requested and errors), used to keep the service running and secure.

2. How we use it

To run MotionArt: sign you in, turn your prompts into videos, keep your clips and their versions, bill your plan and answer you when you write to us. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Your prompts, attached images and videos are private to your account. We don't publish them or use them as examples without asking you first.

3. Where it's stored

Your videos and images are kept in private storage that only your account can open: each time you watch or download one, we check it's yours and hand your browser a link that stops working within an hour.

4. Who helps us run the service

We share only what each one needs to do its job:

  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Neon hosts our database.
  • Cloudflare provides our DNS and stores videos and images.
  • Amazon Web Services runs the servers that render videos.
  • Anthropic's Claude turns your prompt (and any attached image) into the animation.
  • Stripe handles payments.
  • Google handles sign-in if you choose Continue with Google.

5. Google user data

If you sign in with Google we receive only your basic profile (name, email address and picture) and use it only to create and sign in to your MotionArt account. We don't request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data, and we don't transfer your Google data to anyone else. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to complete checkout. No advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and clips while your account is open. Write to support@motionart.ai to get a copy of your data or to have your account and everything in it deleted; we'll do it within 30 days. Billing records we're required to keep for tax purposes are kept for as long as the law requires.

8. Changes and contact

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you by email if the change is significant. Questions? Write to support@motionart.ai.
